Charlie and Ty support Saint Jude’s Children’s research hospital with a Lemonade Stand for Charity at the Las Vegas Bridal Spectacular Wedding Expo. They had so much fun, everyone enjoyed great lemonade and we raised money for an amazing charity that helps families around the world.

The Idea

Day after day my kids beg “Mommy can we do a lemonade stand?” Like many overwhelmed super moms I wanted to make their small business dreams come true but I have so little time and our HOA frowns on things like that. Then one day while doom scrolling down facebook I saw an ad for the Saint Jude Research Hospital Lemonade Stand Fundraiser. Children all over the country were holding lemonade stands for charity with the profit going to this amazing charity. The light bulbs went off! Not only was this an extra good reason to go through the work of creating a lemonade stand but I have a perfect place to do it: the Bridal Spectacular!

So July 2023 We held our lemonade stand at the show and the boys raised over $750 dollars for the local branch of Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We were sponsored by some of our amazing vendors. Led Unplugged Lighting and Event Rentals created the coolest Lemonade Stand sign that has ever been and Sodexo sponsored the most delicious fresh lemonade. Friar Tux sponsored adorable uniform tuxedos for the boys. It was great fun for all involved. We hope you enjoy the pictures and that you will donate to this great charity who help cover all costs for families with children dealing with childhood cancer.

The Fundraising doesn’t stop there!

This January we will be having the Lemonade stand again. This time we will raise funds for the Maui Fire Relief. Ty and Charlie (and myself of course) attended my brother’s wedding in Lahaina, Hawaii on the island of Maui just a week before the fire. We were heart broken for the community there, so much loss and thousands are still without homes. Many of the vendors for the wedding were affected too so we wanted to show our love for their community. Especially since Las Vegas is often referred to as “The Ninth Island” we hope that everyone can come together to support them. Visit Ty and Charlie in booth 607 at the show.

About Maui Fire Relief

On August 8th, 2023 a fire started on the west side of Maui spread causing unprecedented damage to the island, burning 17,000+ acres, leveling over 2000 structures and killing over 100 people. The lovely town of Lahaina, full of culture and history was nearly completely leveled. Today thousands of people are still living in hotels and temporary living situations. The Wedding community in the area is devastated as wedding venues are gone and the scenic beaches where countless couples have tied the knot are destroyed. As a business that supports small wedding businesses here in Las Vegas we are heart broken for them. Please donate to support Maui Fire Relief. Their comeback will be slow and painful and we need to rally behind them!
